This role will lead a comprehensive GAP analysis of the current data landscape against FR 2052a and FR Y-15 requirements, identifying data deficiencies and guiding stakeholders through data sourcing, mapping, and transformation strategy.Business Analysis and IT CoordinationDetermine "as-is" vs. "to-be" data landscapes, identifying missing data fields, granularity issues, and data quality gaps for both reportsPartner with Finance business stakeholders to build a strong understanding of the bank's business lines and productsProvide clear, actionable guidance to data architects and upstream systems on the specific data elements requiring sourcing (transactional, counterparty, collateral, and balance sheet data)Translate complex Federal Reserve regulatory instructions into clear Business and Functional Requirement Documents (BRD/FRD)Develop detailed data mapping specifications from source systems to the Axiom Operational Data Store (ODS) and consolidated data modelRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within a Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB)Hands-on experience navigating AxiomSL (ControllerView)At least one full lifecycle implementation of FR 2052a or FR Y-15 at a major banking institutionStrong knowledge of financial productsProficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, SQL, and large dataset managementExcellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive initiatives to completionStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
