An early start is required (7:00am) as part of a team-based coverage model. There is the opportunity to work from home typically one day per week (Wednesdays). Due to the location of our office and limited public transport, your own transport is essential.As an IT Business Systems Analyst (Functional), you will be responsible for managing system issues, supporting enhancements, and delivering small-scale projects. This role sits within a collaborative IT team and requires both strong technical capability and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. You’ll work across the full lifecycle, from ticket resolution and troubleshooting through to requirements gathering, testing, and business-facing deliverables.Key Responsibilities:Manage and resolve escalated tickets through the full ITSM lifecycle.Troubleshoot and analyse system issues, including reviewing code and working with SQL queries.Collaborate with developers and DBAs to identify root causes and implement solutions.Lead small projects (typically under three months) from requirements to delivery.Develop business requirements, functional specifications, and test cases.Perform system and user acceptance testing (UAT).Create user guides, documentation, and deliver demos to business stakeholders.Engage with stakeholders to translate technical issues into clear business outcomes.About You:Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Business Systems Analyst / Functional Analyst role within an IT environment supporting business applications withReporting writing experience (SSRS)Experience working within structured ticketing systems and ITSM processes.Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex system issues.Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong Microsoft Access and Windows based client programming languages (such as C#, VB.Net or similar) and backend with SQL server.Experience writing requirements, test cases, and user documentation.A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong prioritisation skills.What’s In It For You:Free secure onsite parking.Free gym with equipment as good as your local gymOn site physioExcellent discount on our food products for you and a family member, plus daily discounts at our onsite canteen.Annual Family EventsReady to take on your next challenge?
