Role Description The Owner role at UpStride is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna. The Owner will oversee overall business strategy, including defining the company’s vision, setting goals, and guiding key initiatives related to learning programs and services. Daily responsibilities include managing operations, supervising staff, coordinating with trainers and partners, and ensuring high-quality delivery of courses and coaching services. The role involves monitoring financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation, as well as leading marketing and outreach efforts to grow the learner base and institutional partnerships. The Owner will also focus on continuous improvement of the platform, gathering feedback from clients and learners, and implementing enhancements to maintain a strong market presence.QualificationsStrong business leadership skills, including strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational management.Experience in education, training, or professional development, with an understanding of course design and learner engagement.Financial management capabilities, including budgeting, revenue tracking, and cost optimization.Marketing and business development skills to build brand awareness, manage outreach, and develop partnerships.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with learners, staff, trainers, and external stakeholders.Ability to manage on-site operations in Patna and maintain a structured, professional work environment.Prior experience in running or co-managing a business, startup, or educational venture is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Education, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
