IT Cybersecurity and SOC Manager

About the JobOur client, a confidential company in the Banking & Financial Services sector, is currently looking for an experienced professional to join their team.ResponsibilitiesLead Cyber Security and SOC operations, including security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.Oversee the implementation of security controls and technical solutions in line with security policies and standards.Manage vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security testing, and configuration reviews across applications, infrastructure, databases, networks, and cloud environments.Supervise SOC operations, SIEM, alert triage, threat intelligence, and security incident escalation.Lead technical incident response, including containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident reviews.Review security architecture and provide recommendations for application, cloud, and infrastructure security.Prepare security metrics, vulnerability reports, incident reports, and SOC performance updates.Lead, coach, and develop Cyber Security and SOC team members.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Cyber Security, SOC, Security Engineering, or related roles, with leadership experience.Strong knowledge of SIEM, security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.Experience securing applications, infrastructure, networks, databases, and cloud environments.Good understanding of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
