IT Datacenter Smart Hands Engineer

Role:Hemmersbach is seeking an experienced Network / Datacenter Smart Hands Engineer to provide onsite support within datacenter, laboratory, and network environments. The role focuses on physical infrastructure support, network operations assistance, and hands-on troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform cable tracing, hardware replacement, rack-and-stack activities, and power cycling.Support servers, storage devices, network equipment, and datacenter infrastructure.Assist with LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VoIP, switches, routers, and firewalls.Maintain cable management, labelling, inventory, and UPS validation activities.Support datacenter operations, migrations, and infrastructure projects.Document work and update ServiceNow tickets in accordance with SLA requirements.

Requirements
