IT / DT / STEM Teacher – British Curriculum

We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic IT / Computing Teacher with strong capability or experience in Design & Technology (DT) and STEM education to support learning across Primary and Secondary.The ideal candidate will combine strong classroom practice with a passion for technology, coding, design thinking, problem-solving and hands-on learning, helping students develop the skills needed for an increasingly digital and technology-driven world.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach IT / Computing across relevant Primary and Secondary year groups.Contribute to the development and delivery of DT and STEM learning.Plan engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the British Curriculum.Develop students' skills in coding, computational thinking, digital literacy, design and problem-solving.Facilitate practical projects that encourage students to design, create, test and improve solutions.Integrate AI literacy and emerging technologies appropriately and responsibly into learning.Support STEM clubs, competitions, exhibitions and innovation projects.Maintain high expectations for student achievement, progress and behaviour.Contribute positively to curriculum development and the wider life of the school.Candidate ProfileEssential:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computing, Design & Technology, Engineering or a closely related field.A recognised teaching qualification or teacher preparation credential appropriate to the role.Relevant classroom teaching experience.Strong communication, classroom management and collaborative skills.Ability to use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.Desirable:Experience within a British curriculum school.Experience teaching across Primary and/or Secondary.Practical experience in one or more areas such as coding, robotics, electronics, CAD, 3D design/printing, physical computing, engineering or maker-based learning.Experience leading STEM projects, clubs, competitions or innovation initiatives.UAE teaching experience and eligibility for relevant regulatory approval.Current & Future OpportunitiesWe welcome applications from candidates who are available immediately, as well as educators interested in upcoming teaching opportunities.We are particularly interested in teachers who can bring together Computing, creativity and practical STEM learning to inspire students and strengthen future-ready skills.How to ApplyTo be considered, please email your updated CV to:careers@elspvtdubai.comEmail subject: Application – IT / DT / STEM TeacherIn your application, please indicate your:Current locationAvailability / notice periodSubjects and year groups taughtBritish Curriculum experience, if applicableExperience in IT/Computing, DT, coding, robotics or STEM projectsOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.The school is committed to safeguarding and safer recruitment.
