You'll be the go-to expert for colleagues across the business, providing 1st and 2nd line support while working with modern Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Active Directory. Working closely with a collaborative team of engineers across the UK and internationally, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact from day one, contribute to business-critical initiatives, and develop your career within one of the UK's fastest-growing wealth management firms.We're looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, takes ownership, and genuinely enjoys helping people.Job ResponsibilitiesOffering IT services & support over telephone, email, remote, but mostly face-to-faceAs needed to assist the migration team to onboard new companies acquired into the group M365 tenantUsing ServiceDesk+ for logging, monitoring, and managing ticketsWork closely with users from all global offices to resolve issues, keeping users informed/updated and escalate where appropriateFollow industry best practice to proactively maintain the infrastructure to prevent failures/issues and improve performance, availability, and resilienceBuild and maintain corporate PCs and laptops, keeping adequate spares-levels (inventory)Administration of starters and leavers, getting quotes and placing orders (procurement)Guide and support users in following group IT standards, policies & proceduresManage/participate in project initiatives (as assigned) to achieve broader IT objectivesContribute to and maintain documentation for processes and proceduresThe role may involve occasional travel in the UK to different sitesAhere to consumer dutyEducation And Requirements5+ years’ experience with desktop support in Microsoft environmentExcellent English communication skills, comfortable in high engagement environmentA+ PC technician / N+, MD100, MD101 certifications are advantageousDecent understanding of networking, routers, firewalls. E.g. able to replace router/APGreat customer service skillsProactive and ability to work with minimal directionExcellent methodology in fault-findingStrong working knowledge of MS Windows 10/11 Enterprise, Office 365Good working knowledge of Active Directory and Identity ManagementUnderstanding of cyber security frameworks like NIST/CIS advantageousGood understanding of Windows Server / roles and features would be beneficialKnowledge of mobile device platforms; iOS, Android and MS Surface tabletsSelf-motivated, well organisedAbility to prioritise and focusEssential Technical SkillsMicrosoft 365 AdministrationMicrosoft 365 Admin Portal experienceEntra ID (Azure Active Directory)IntuneOn-Prem Active Directory Our employees are talented people, distinguished by excellence.
