IT Governance Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Support in managing the development, implementation and updating of the IT strategy.Support in managing the development, implementation and updating of the IT governance model, policies and procedures and overseeing its enforcement and compliance across GPC.Act as a liaison between business operations and IT and ensure that data related requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and well understood.Support risk and audit assessment processes and contribute to the identification and mitigation of IT-related risks and audit findings & observationsPrepare and present reports on IT governance metrics and compliance status to management and stakeholders.Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of IT governance practices.Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.Ensure alignment with applicable frameworks such as ISO 20000, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITILOversee ITSM governance by ensuring process compliance and maturity improvements on related processes such as CMDB , service catalog data, Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management etc.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge and Experience: 2-5 years’ experience in IT administrator, governance, compliance, risk management or a related field.Education and Certifications: Information Technology, Computer Science or any other related fields.

• Certifications (Preferred): such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT or COBIT.ESSENTIAL SKILLS:Experience in IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO20K)Risk Assessment & ManagementIT Planning, Compliance, and IT Change ManagementVendor Management & ReportingRelationship Management.Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech productsAbility to diagnose and resolve basic technical issuesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong understanding and knowledge in IT processes, policies, procedures and auditing.Desired skills:Reporting, Relationship ManagementProblem solving attitude, driving issues to conclusion and solution.High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure.Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.Commercial and business awareness.An analytical mind and a keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data.Follow up.
