The role involves engaging with walk-in and phone-based customers, understanding their IT hardware needs, and recommending appropriate products and solutions. Daily tasks include preparing and presenting quotations, explaining product features and benefits, processing orders, and following up on leads to close sales. The IT Hardware Sales Person will maintain product knowledge, update records and basic documentation, coordinate with the internal team for stock and deliveries, and provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction. The role also includes handling customer inquiries, resolving basic issues, and promoting relevant offers to drive sales and repeat business.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with clients and build trust.Candidates should possess solid Sales skills with the ability to identify needs, present solutions, and close deals.Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette for handling inbound and outbound calls with customers.Candidates should possess basic computer skills, including familiarity with tools like Paint and common office applications for simple documentation or presentations.Relevant experience in IT hardware sales or retail technology environments is beneficial.Knowledge of common IT hardware products (e.g., PCs, laptops, peripherals, networking devices) is an advantage.Ability to work on-site full time in Gwalior and manage multiple customer interactions throughout the day.A minimum of a high school diploma; a diploma or degree in business, IT, or a related field is preferred.
