IT Help Desk Manager

This role focuses on leading the IT operations at a new manufacturing facility in San Antonio, Texas. The IT Manager will oversee a local IT team, ensuring the delivery of secure and scalable technology services that align with business goals. Collaborating closely with senior business leaders, this position will shape IT strategies and policies while managing site-specific operations and projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the on-site IT team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring effective IT support.Oversee all site IT operations, acting as a senior escalation point for technical issues and driving timely resolutions.Manage the site IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to corporate financial policies.Build strong partnerships with senior business leaders to align technology investments with strategic priorities.Drive site IT projects, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and improve service delivery.Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies while adapting to the specific needs of the San Antonio facility.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.10+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or people management role.Proven experience managing IT teams in a manufacturing or plant environment, demonstrating strong technical leadership.Strong technical background in enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and security, with hands-on experience.Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL and ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, vendors, and contracts effectively.Additional Details:Location: San Antonio, TX 78235This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop a high-performance IT team in a dynamic manufacturing environment, engaging with senior leaders to align technology with strategic goals.
