manufacturing environments.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Innovation & Strategic PlanningResearch, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies that improve business performance, operational efficiency, and infrastructure capabilities.Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify challenges, opportunities, and future technology needs.Develop technology strategies, roadmaps, and modernization initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.Identify opportunities to leverage cloud, automation, data, networking, and infrastructure technologies to create business value.Monitor industry trends and emerging technology capabilities within manufacturing, supply chain, and enterprise IT environments.Infrastructure Architecture & Solution DesignDesign scalable infrastructure solutions that balance performance, security, reliability, flexibility, and cost efficiency.Develop conceptual architectures, reference designs, and infrastructure blueprints for enterprise technology initiatives.Evaluate technical feasibility and recommend infrastructure solutions supporting both current and future business requirements.Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, networking, and application teams to develop integrated technical solutions.Support enterprise modernization and digital transformation programs.Proof of Concept & Technology EvaluationLead Proof of Technology (PoT) and Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to validate emerging technologies and infrastructure solutions.Develop prototypes that demonstrate technical viability and business value.Assess solution performance, scalability, operational impact, and cost considerations.Present findings, recommendations, and implementation strategies to technical and business leadership.Translate research and experimentation into actionable infrastructure roadmaps.Cloud Engineering & AutomationDesign, implement, and support cloud-native infrastructure solutions within AWS environments.Leverage infrastructure automation tools and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to improve efficiency and consistency.Support cloud migration, modernization, and hybrid infrastructure initiatives.Build automated deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management processes.Drive infrastructure reliability through automation and operational excellence practices.Enterprise Infrastructure ManagementSupport enterprise platforms including virtualization, containerization, storage, networking, and compute environments.Manage and maintain existing infrastructure resources while identifying improvement opportunities.Ensure infrastructure platforms remain secure, scalable, and aligned with evolving business demands.Support lifecycle management, capacity planning, and technology refresh initiatives.Assist with hardware and software platform evaluations and implementation planning.Manufacturing & Business Systems IntegrationDevelop infrastructure solutions that support manufacturing, supply chain, and business operations.Enable seamless integration between enterprise systems and operational technology environments.Support API-based integrations and modern data exchange capabilities.Collaborate with business units to understand operational workflows and infrastructure requirements.Design solutions that enhance operational visibility, system interoperability, and automation.Vendor & Technology Partner CollaborationWork with technology vendors, suppliers, and service providers to evaluate solutions and capabilities.Participate in product assessments, demonstrations, and technical reviews.Support buy-versus-build evaluations and vendor selection activities.Maintain awareness of industry innovation and best practices through external partnerships.Help develop integration and adoption strategies for new technologies.Documentation & Technical CommunicationProduce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, solution assessments, and implementation recommendations.Develop reports summarizing technology research, PoC outcomes, and strategic recommendations.Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.Maintain accurate records of infrastructure standards, processes, and architecture decisions.Present findings and recommendations to leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with architecture, networking, cloud, security, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver successful solutions.Facilitate communication between technical and business stakeholders.Participate in strategic planning sessions and innovation initiatives.Contribute to enterprise technology standards and governance practices.Support organizational initiatives focused on modernization, efficiency, and operational excellence.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent professional experience.5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, automation, systems administration, or related technical disciplines.Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure solutions.Strong understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure architecture, and modernization
