Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced, technically strong, and hands-on IT Manager – Arabic Speaker to lead and oversee the IT function across a multi-site business environment covering retail, hypermarket, mall, property, and facilities management operations.The role requires a strong combination of IT leadership and hands-on technical expertise, with responsibility for ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, integrations, and support services across the organization.The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of the overall IT environment, strengthen existing systems and controls, lead technology improvements, and ensure IT effectively supports both operational and business requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall IT strategy, governance, policies, standards, and operational framework across multiple business units and locations.Manage and continuously improve IT infrastructure, networks, servers, systems, cybersecurity, and end-user support.Oversee POS and ERP systems, including integrations, troubleshooting, system availability, and coordination with business operations.Ensure reliable IT support for retail and hypermarket operations, including POS terminals, scanners, printers, network equipment, inventory, supply chain, and back-office systems.Support technology requirements related to mall, property, and facilities management operations, including relevant administrative and operational systems.Coordinate technical dependencies relating to CCTV networks, access control, and other integrated systems, where applicable.Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, network infrastructure, security controls, backup, and disaster recovery.Lead cybersecurity governance, risk management, security improvements, and compliance.Establish and maintain effective business continuity and disaster recovery plans.Oversee IT asset management, licensing, lifecycle planning, and technology inventory.Lead IT projects, system implementations, upgrades, integrations, automation, and digital improvement initiatives.Manage IT vendors, service providers, contracts, procurement requirements, and budgets.Oversee helpdesk, ticketing, incident management, and escalation processes.Lead and develop the IT team, ensuring effective workload allocation, technical support, and performance management.Provide regular management reporting on IT performance, incidents, risks, projects, and improvement initiatives.This maintains the technical and operational scope of the original JD without identifying the individual business units. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 12–15 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 6–8 years in a managerial or leadership role.Proven experience managing IT operations across multiple sites or business units.Strong hands-on expertise in networking, servers, infrastructure, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, backup, and disaster recovery.Strong experience with ERP/POS systems, integrations, and operational troubleshooting.Previous IT experience within retail, hypermarket, mall, property, or facilities management environments is highly preferred.Strong experience in IT project management, vendor management, budgeting, and team leadership.Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA Security+, or PMP are preferred.Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on technical levels.Fluency in Arabic and English is required.The experience requirements remain aligned with the attached JD. Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a senior IT professional who combines strong technical depth with leadership capability. The ideal candidate should be able to manage a complex, multi-site IT environment while remaining technically involved when required.Experience supporting retail/hypermarket operations together with mall, property, or facilities management environments will be a strong advantage.
