IT Manager

Role Description The IT Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure and systems in a part-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing networks and servers, monitoring system performance, and ensuring data security and backup procedures are in place. The role involves supporting end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and coordinating with external vendors and service providers. The IT Manager will help define IT policies, maintain documentation, and ensure that technology solutions align with business needs, particularly in logistics, fleet management, and customer service environments. This position requires regular remote collaboration with internal teams to support continuous operations and system reliability.QualificationsStrong skills in IT infrastructure and systems management, including servers, networks, and cloud-based solutions.Experience with information security, data protection, backup strategies, and access control practices.Proficiency in user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical incidents.Ability to manage vendors, evaluate technology solutions, and oversee implementation of new tools or platforms.Solid understanding of ERP or fleet management systems and their integration with business operations is beneficial.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams.Strong organizational and time-management skills suitable for a part-time role, with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Prior experience in logistics, automotive, or commercial vehicle sectors is an advantage.
