- 10–15 years IT experience within banking or other regulated financial institutions
- Familiarity with Banking applications (e.g., Summit, Montran, Swift, Midas, Actimize)
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, IT governance (COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, regulatory requirements (NYDFS, FFIEC as applicable)
- Ability to assume leadership responsibilities and effectively manage in the CIO’s absence.
- Familiarity with Enterprise infrastructure (Windows/VMware), Storage (e.g., Dell Power Store), backup (e.g., Cohesity), Networking and telecommunications, Enterprise monitoring and IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills with the ability to develop and deliver clear, concise, and impactful presentations for senior management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical, reporting, and data management capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience in IT financial management, including budget planning, forecasting, expense control, and resource allocation.
