IT Portfolio and PMO ManagerSaros Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Portfolio and PMO Manager to establish and operate a lightweight, Jira-based Project Management Office and deliver our Managed Project Service for a large engineering-sector organisation.The successful candidate will provide portfolio governance, delivery visibility and executive reporting across waterfall, agile and hybrid projects.Key responsibilitiesEstablish and operate a practical Jira-based PMO and Managed Project Service.Manage portfolio demand, prioritisation and pipeline visibility.Provide cross-functional resource and capacity planning.Govern milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions, issues, decisions and actions.Manage governance forums, delivery standards and reporting controls.Produce executive dashboards, automated reporting and actionable portfolio insights.Define, direct and validate Jira workflows, dashboards and automation.Work with executive sponsors and delivery leaders to resolve priorities and delivery constraints.Manage the required documentation, handover and service transition.Required experienceSenior portfolio, programme or PMO leadership experience.Strong hands-on experience using Jira for portfolio governance and reporting.Experience establishing or mobilising a PMO operating model.Portfolio demand management, prioritisation and capacity-planning experience.Delivery governance across waterfall, agile and hybrid methods.Strong executive stakeholder management.Excellent RAIDD, milestone and dependency management.Experience producing executive dashboards and automated portfolio reporting.Engineering, construction or asset-intensive industry experience would be advantageous.Applicants must be based in Ireland and available for hybrid or client-site working as required.
