Apply & track with Apply EdgeIT Procurement Specialist (Ivalua)Job Code: JPC-6350 Location: Abu Dhabi Industry: Banking Experience: 2–5 years Joining: Immediate Joiners PreferredWe are looking for an IT Procurement Specialist with strong Ivalua experience to join one of the leading banks in Abu Dhabi.This is an urgent requirement, and candidates who are available to join immediately or at short notice are highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesManage general procurement activities for goods and services in line with the Centralized Procurement strategy.Work closely with business teams and key stakeholders to understand procurement requirements.Execute procurement activities according to the annual procurement plan, approved guidelines, and timelines.Support procurement planning for goods, materials, and services required by internal functions and projects.Develop item-specific forecasts to support repeat ordering and effective inventory management.Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimum stock levels.Assist in identifying and selecting suitable vendors based on quality, cost, and business requirements.Prepare and issue RFPs to vendors as required.Manage the RFP process and ensure stakeholders and vendors adhere to agreed timelines.Support vendor onboarding and registration while ensuring compliance with AML and internal compliance requirements.Coordinate vendor security clearance where required.Maintain professional relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers.Coordinate with the Legal team to ensure appropriate contracts are established with suppliers.Liaise with vendors to ensure contractual obligations, service targets, and agreed terms are maintained.Maintain accurate digital records of supplier and vendor contracts.Develop and maintain the vendor database, including supporting documentation and contractual information.Maintain digital procurement profiles containing vendor information and purchasing trends.Analyze procurement data and identify discrepancies, risks, and contractual issues.Escalate or resolve procurement and contractual issues to support effective risk mitigation.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Candidate ProfileQualifications:Bachelor's or master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Relevant professional procurement certifications/memberships are an advantage.Experience & Skills:2–5 years of relevant procurement experience.Strong experience in IT Procurement / General Procurement.Hands-on experience with Ivalua is highly preferred.Strong commercial and analytical skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.Strong stakeholder and vendor management capabilities.Good understanding of procurement processes, vendor onboarding, contracts, and compliance.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.ImportantThis is an urgent requirement.
