IT Production and Operations Specialist

The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth and reliable execution of production activities and business-critical applications. The role focuses on monitoring application health, controlling production workflows, managing alerts and incidents, executing operational procedures, and contributing to service stability through proactive detection, troubleshooting, and resolution of operational issues. Key Responsibilities 1. Production Monitoring & Control Monitor business-critical applications, services, and infrastructure using Centreon. Supervise production workflows and scheduled jobs through Control-M. Ensure continuous monitoring and identify operational anomalies. Manage incidents, alerts, and service requests. Oversee production reports. Perform proactive monitoring to ensure service availability. 2. Operational Actions & Incident Management Detect, analyze and escalate alerts. Track and act on automated reports and notifications. Perform first-level troubleshooting and recovery actions. Analyze recurring incidents and production errors. Coordinate incident resolution with support teams. Ensure communication through resolution. Support root cause analysis and preventive actions. 3. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement Execute operational tasks and production changes. Maintain documentation, runbooks and procedures. Produce dashboards, KPIs and reports. Identify automation opportunities. Support observability and predictive monitoring practices. 4. Working Environment Operate in a 24x7x365 environment. Participate in shifts and on-call activities. Support transition to proactive and automated operations. Required Skills

Technical Skills

Experience with Centreon and Control-M. Knowledge of Observability platforms and monitoring best practices to proactively detect, analyze, and prevent production issues.Basic knowledge of Infrastructure, Servers, Databases and Applications. Ability to analyze application, database and infrastructure incidents. Knowledge of ITIL and Agile. SQL and/or PowerShell is a plus. Generative AI knowledge is desirable. Ability to work under pressure. Business Knowledge: Banking, Financial Services or Stock Exchange knowledge is a plus. Languages:Excellent French. Good English. German is a plus.
