Business arrangements at this time.***The IS Project Coordinator is an entry-level position within the Project Manager job family. The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the planning, coordinating, and managing of IS projects within the scope, timeline, and budget. Additionally, this role will assist in the execution of Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, SCRUM meetings, retrospectives, Sprint Reviews, and Backlog grooming activities. Under the direction of senior members of the Project Management team, the Project Coordinator will collaborate with technical teams, operational stakeholders, business stakeholders, and external business partners. This is a hybrid position with the expectation that the Project Coordinator will align in-person office days with the schedule of the teams they support.Working with senior members of the Project Management team, the IS Project Coordinator's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Learn and effectively apply Select Medical’s Project Management standardsAssist in the development and tracking of project plans, work breakdown structures, and Gantt chartsUnderstand high-level requirements and effectively coordinate resourcesAssist in assigning and tracking project tasks, using Agile methods as appropriateSupport Agile methodologies and ceremonies, as applicable to the project/teamAssist in project communications with IT Leadership, Operations, vendors, and other key stakeholders regarding project milestones and issue trackingAssist in scheduling and facilitating project meetings, preparing agendas, taking and sharing minutes, and following up on action itemsIdentify, document, escalate, and track remediation of issues in a timely fashionSupport administrative tasks such as document control, data entry, invoice processing, and report generationAssist in effective management of ChangeDemonstrate increased knowledge of relevant IT systems, applicable workflows, and project-specific processesActively pursue professional development to increase and maintain necessary and applicable skillsBS or BA or equivalent education and experienceSolid understanding of the software development life cycle for implementing Enterprise-level systems - 1-2 yearsExperienced facilitation and planning skills - 1-2 yearsSolid technical writing and presentation skills - 1-2 yearsStrong teamwork, time management, and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills commensurate with a professional working environmentSolid analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business prioritiesHands-on experience with project management tools and processes - 1-2 years preferredExperience in waterfall, agile, and hybrid project management methodologies - 1-2 years preferredKnowledge of Microsoft productivity applications preferred
