IT Project Manager

Position - IT Project Manager.Reports to : Head of IT Operations.Business Line/ Department : IT Operations/IT.Job Dimensions:Number of Staff Supervised (Direct Reports): As per approved OS.Job Purpose: The Job Holder is Responsible to Plans, executes, and closes IT projects across Almanea’s technology portfolio, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards. Manages cross-functional stakeholders from initiation through to post-implementation review.Job Deliverables - AccountabilityProject charter (scope, objectives, stakeholders).Project management plan (schedule, budget, resources, risks). Project status reports (progress, risks, issues). Work breakdown structure (WBS) & project schedule.Risk register & issue tracking reports.Project closure report (outcomes, lessons learned).Duties : Project Planning & DeliveryDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business requirements.Develop detailed project plans, resource schedules, and risk registers.Track and report project progress against baseline plans; escalate deviations promptly.Stakeholder ManagementManage communication with business units, IT teams, and senior leadership throughout the project lifecycle.Facilitate steering committee and project status meetings.Produce clear project status reports and executive dashboards. Risk & Issue ManagementIdentify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues.Maintain a live risk and issue log with agreed owners and mitigation actions.Escalate high-impact risks to the Head of IT Operations and CTO. Project GovernanceEnsure all projects adhere to Almanea’s IT project governance framework.Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned.Manage project budgets and ensure financial controls are maintained.Note: The principal accountabilities listed above are an illustrative list and not an exhaustive list. Additional responsibilities may be added from time to time depending on organizational requirements.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE: Minimum Qualification :Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field.Certified in PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner (mandatory). Agile/Scrum certification preferred.Minimum ExperienceMinimum Experience of 5–7 years in IT project management. Retail or consumer electronics experience advantageous.Proven experience is a must.Other Requirement (Skills Set)End-to-end IT project management in a retail or enterprise environmentProject management tools: MS Project, Jira, or equivalentRisk management and dependency mappingStakeholder communication and executive reportingAgile and waterfall methodologiesArabic (Native/Professional) · English (Professional)
