IT Project Manager โ€“ EHR ImplementationHarrisburg, PA (Hybrid)๐Ÿข Direct Client Position OverviewOur client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system supporting 59 State Health Centers (SHCs) and clinical staff across the Bureau of Community Health Systems, Bureau of Immunizations, and Bureau of Communicable Diseases.The Project Manager will lead the full lifecycle of a large-scale EHR implementation, including project planning, execution, governance, organizational change management, testing, implementation, and transition to operations and maintenance.Required Qualifications7โ€“9+ years of relevant IT Project Management experience.Proven experience leading the implementation of a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.Experience transitioning from a paper-based charting environment to an EHR system.Active PMP certification from PMI for a minimum of 5 years.Experience with EHR/EMR, Health Informatics, and Health IT.Must currently reside in Pennsylvania.Ability to work onsite in the Harrisburg, PA office two days per week, as requested.Experience managing complex, large-scale IT projects involving multiple technical teams and vendors.Strong experience with:Project planning and executionProject governanceBudget and schedule managementRisk and issue managementRAID+ logsChange managementStakeholder managementProject status reportingTesting and implementationProject documentationKey ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the complete lifecycle of the EHR implementation.Develop and manage the Project Management Plan and Project Schedule.Manage project scope, budget, resources, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.Coordinate activities across Application, Data Warehouse, Informatics, Networking, Security, Service Management, and vendor teams.Facilitate communication between program areas, IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors.Manage project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies through closure.Coordinate system testing, training, implementation, and transition to operations and maintenance.Provide regular project status updates and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with established PMO methodologies, standards, and procedures.Establish and maintain project documentation using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.Preferred / Nice-to-Have QualificationsExperience with public health programs and public health systems.Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM) for independent customers.Previous experience working with government or large public-sector organizations.
