IT Security Engineer - BW Area - Up to €85,000 (d / m / w)ResponsibilitiesIdentify, assess, and prioritize technical vulnerabilities and security risks, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies to reduce exposureDefine and enhance security-related standards, including system hardening and configuration guidelines, while evaluating and testing emerging security technologiesDesign, implement, and continuously improve security infrastructures, including firewalls, VPN solutions, network segmentation, and access control mechanismsProvide technical guidance and collaborate with related IT teams, supporting audits, security assessments, and infrastructure or migration initiativesInvestigate and manage security incidents by analyzing affected systems, coordinating containment and recovery actions, and deriving long-term improvementsAnalyze complex security requirements and independently develop suitable architectural concepts for both classified and non-classified environmentsDesired Skills and ExperienceCompleted a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT Security or similar5+ years as an IT Security Engineer, designing and implementing technical security solutions (network security, VPN, firewalls, etc.)Experience in vulnerability analysis, risk assessments, security incident handling, and OWASPFluency in German & English is mandatoryCandidates must be clear of any government, defense, or security-related employment restrictionsDo not miss your opportunity to excel your career in an established and stimulating organization.
