IT Sr. Systems Administrator (On-site) No C2C

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to manage and maintain Microsoft Windows systems, endpoint security, cloud infrastructure, and virtual environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, cybersecurity, Azure, virtualization, and automation.Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, security groups, and Group Policy Objects.Administer Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments.Support Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, file clusters, and print servers.Maintain operating-system baselines for Windows servers and workstations.Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, patch, and upgrade Microsoft Windows operating systems.Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve performance, security, and reliability.Conduct vulnerability assessments and mitigate identified security risks.Implement security controls aligned with CIS and NIST guidelines.Support the implementation of Zero Trust architecture.Administer endpoint security tools, including Endpoint Detection and Response solutions.Apply hardened security configurations and least-privilege access controls.Deploy and manage resources within Microsoft Azure.Configure, maintain, and optimize virtual environments.Track IT assets throughout the inventory and lifecycle-management process.Write, interpret, and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts for automation.Diagnose complex system and application issues and provide support to technical staff.Implement and manage disaster-recovery strategies.Configure and maintain replication processes for critical systems.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.At least 10 years of relevant experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, cybersecurity, and TCP/IP networking.Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessments and security frameworks, including CIS and NIST.Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.Experience administering endpoint security and EDR solutions.Strong virtualization, asset-management, and PowerShell scripting skills.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively as an adaptable team member.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Preferred CertificationsCompTIA Security+Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator or Microsoft Certified Solutions ExpertMicrosoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)Benefits:Health Insurance401k​​​​​​ Pay Range: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
