Beyond advisory, we help our clients build high performing governance teams with the right talent.We are currently hiring on behalf of a leading bank in Sharjah for the following role.Position Details:Reports To: VP – Head of IT Strategy & GovernanceContract: 1 year, renewableRemuneration: AED 25,000 to 28,000 per monthVisa & Insurance: UAE employment visa and health insurance provided for the candidate onlyNationality: Open to all (Arabic Speaker Preferred)Role Purpose:Lead IT Strategy development, planning, execution, performance management, and technology transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and periodic review of the Bank’s IT Strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technology priorities.Develop and maintain multi-year IT strategic roadmaps and annual strategic plans, translating business priorities into actionable technology initiatives.Establish and monitor IT strategic KPIs, performance dashboards, and execution frameworks to measure progress against strategic objectives.Track the implementation of strategic initiatives, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and benefits realization, and recommend corrective actions where required.Prepare executive reports, strategic performance updates, and management presentations for IT leadership and the IT Steering Committee (ITSC).Coordinate with EPMO, IT departments, and business stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment, prioritization, and effective governance of IT projects and initiatives.Assess emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Automation, and Data Analytics, and recommend opportunities for innovation and digital transformation.Support the strategic governance of major technology transformation initiatives, including Core Banking Modernization, Cloud Adoption, AI, and Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE).Ensure compliance with the IT Strategy Governance Framework, internal policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable international standards.Coordinate strategic planning workshops, governance meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities to promote alignment between IT capabilities and business priorities.Key Deliverables:IT Strategy and Roadmap, Annual Strategic Plan, Strategy Execution Dashboard, Strategic KPI Framework, ITSC Reports and Technology Assessments.What We're Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.Arabic Speaker Preferred8–12 years in IT Strategy, IT Governance, or Digital Transformation.
