Role: IT SupportWork Hours/Days: 6 Days per week, 8 hours per dayLocation: Dubai Airport AreaContract: 15 days to 1 month contractVisa: Own Visa candidates are requiredJob SummaryWe are looking for IT Support professionals for a short-term project in the Dubai Airport Area. The successful candidates will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and handover of IT hardware, software, network devices, Microsoft 365 applications, access control systems, and end-user equipment. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in IT desktop support, hardware/software deployment, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, printers, and end-user troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and deploy laptops and desktop computers.Configure operating systems and apply corporate standards and security policies.Install and configure monitors, docking stations, webcams, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals.Install and configure Microsoft Office applications.Configure Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 applications.Configure user accounts, email profiles, and cloud synchronization.Install, configure, and troubleshoot network printers.Install and configure multifunction devices, including printers, scanners, and photocopiers.Configure secure printing and user access permissions for printing devices.Connect end-user devices to wired and wireless networks.Configure and troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity.Configure VPN access and remote access tools, if required.Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.Configure user permissions, shared folders, and network drives.Support password resets and account access requests.Configure and issue employee access cards and identification badges.Coordinate with physical security teams for access control system integration.Configure and test biometric devices, card readers, and access control systems.Install and configure office productivity tools and business applications.Configure shared mailboxes, distribution groups, and collaboration tools.Set up meeting rooms, conference rooms, display screens, and video conferencing equipment.Install and configure IP phones and communication devices, if applicable.Perform hardware and software testing before deployment.Maintain and update the IT asset inventory, including laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, and accessories. Label and document all IT assets.Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and security teams during implementation.Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, network, and application issues.Perform end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT).Document configurations, installation procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.Prepare handover documentation and knowledge transfer materials.Ensure all deployed systems comply with corporate IT policies, security standards, and operational requirements.
