IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer

ZENNER India Location Faridabad, Haryana, India Experience 2–3 years Employment Type Full-time Role Focus Daily IT support, infrastructure coordination and liaison with ZENNER Group ITAbout the Role :-As ZENNER India continues to grow, we are looking for a professional, hands-on and proactive IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer to support our day-to-day IT requirements and the further development of our local IT infrastructure.The position will be the primary local contact for IT matters at ZENNER India and will work closely with ZENNER Group IT in Germany, as well as external IT and infrastructure service providers in India.The role requires not only good technical knowledge, but also strong communication skills, very good English and a professional personal presentation, as the successful candidate will regularly interact with local and international colleagues, management and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

-· Provide day-to-day IT support to ZENNER India employees, including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, network connectivity and business applications.· Install, configure and maintain laptops, workstations, peripherals and standard company software.· Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, Wi-Fi, LAN and VPN issues.· Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment preparation and coordination of accounts, access rights and licenses.· Act as the primary local IT contact between ZENNER India and ZENNER Group IT in Germany.· Communicate technical issues clearly and professionally with Group IT and follow up until resolution.· Coordinate with external IT suppliers and specialist service providers.· Support and coordinate the external specialist company responsible for the implementation of the new server room and IT infrastructure.· Follow up on contractors and ensure requirements agreed with ZENNER Group IT are properly understood and implemented locally.· Support LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, Wi-Fi access points, firewalls and related network equipment.· Provide first-level monitoring and troubleshooting of local infrastructure and escalate more complex server, network or cybersecurity issues when required.· Maintain IT asset registers, hardware inventory, software/license records and technical documentation.· Support implementation and compliance with Group IT security requirements, including MFA, endpoint protection, access control, backups and other cybersecurity measures.· Coordinate local IT purchasing and communication with suppliers.· Support meeting rooms, displays, video conferencing and Teams equipment.· Assist with future IT infrastructure expansion as ZENNER India continues to grow.· Maintain clear documentation of IT issues, configurations, equipment and ongoing projects.Mandatory Requirements :-· 2–3 years of practical experience in IT support, infrastructure support, system administration or a similar position.· Very good spoken and written English – mandatory.· Ability to communicate confidently in English with international colleagues, particularly ZENNER Group IT in Germany.· Professional personal presentation and professional communication skills – mandatory.· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate appropriately with employees, management, suppliers and international colleagues.· Good knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365.· Practical understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, VPN and basic firewall concepts.· Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
