Location: London Working pattern: Hybrid, three days in the office Salary: £30,000 Contract: Permanent, full-timeZachary Daniels Recruitment is partnering with a well-established consumer-facing business to recruit an IT Support Engineer for its growing internal technology team.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer-focused support professional who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems and taking ownership of user issues.You will become a key point of contact for colleagues across a busy multi-site organisation, providing day-to-day technical support while gaining exposure to wider technology deployments and infrastructure projects.What you'll be doing:Acting as the first point of contact for IT queries and service requestsLogging, prioritising and resolving incidents through the IT service management platformTroubleshooting laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and other business hardwareSupporting users across Windows, macOS, Android and iOSManaging user accounts, password resets and access permissionsSupporting Active Directory and Google Workspace environmentsCompleting onboarding and offboarding activities for employeesCarrying out basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, IP addressing and physical connectivitySupporting the setup and deployment of hardware across different business locationsEscalating more complex issues with clear and accurate technical informationCreating straightforward user guides and maintaining support documentationIdentifying recurring issues and working with the wider IT team to improve service reliabilityWhat we're looking for:Previous experience in a service desk, desktop support or IT support positionGood knowledge of Windows and macOS environmentsExperience with Active Directory and Google Workspace would be beneficialConfidence troubleshooting hardware, software, access and connectivity issuesA basic understanding of networking, including Wi-Fi, IP addresses and physical connectivityStrong customer service and communication skillsA practical, proactive attitude and willingness to take ownershipThe ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical usersExperience supporting users across multiple locations would be advantageousA genuine desire to learn and progress within IT operations and infrastructureThe business is continuing to develop its internal technology capability, making this a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build on their support experience and gain broader technical exposure.If you're looking for a hands-on IT support role with excellent training, exposure and progression opportunities, apply today.BH37630
