Freelance IT Support / EUC Backfill Engineer📍 Location: Dolný Kubín, Slovakia💼 Engagement: Freelance / B2B – Backfill Support🕐 Work Type: Onsite / Dispatch📅 Requirement: As and when required based on client tickets🌍 Region: EMEAJob OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Freelance IT Support / EUC Engineer based in or around Dolný Kubín, Slovakia, to provide onsite backfill and dispatch support when the primary engineer is unavailable.The engineer will provide hands-on technical assistance to end users and support day-to-day IT operations at the client site.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite L1/L2 IT and Desktop SupportTroubleshoot desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations and peripheralsWindows 10/11 installation, configuration and troubleshootingHardware replacement, break-fix and basic diagnosticsLaptop imaging, deployment and device setupPrinter installation and troubleshootingBasic LAN/Wi-Fi and connectivity troubleshootingTroubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP-related issuesSupport Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 applicationsPerform IMAC activities – Install, Move, Add and ChangeAsset tagging, inventory and equipment trackingSupport laptop/device collection and replacement activitiesAssist with conference room and meeting-room equipmentProvide hands-and-feet support to remote infrastructure teamsFollow client SOPs, security procedures and ITIL processesUpdate and manage incidents/service requests through the client's ticketing systemMaintain clear documentation of activities and resolutionsCoordinate with remote L2/L3 teams and third-party vendors when requiredCandidate Requirements2–4+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, EUC or Field SupportStrong hands-on troubleshooting experienceGood knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop hardwareExperience with laptop/desktop imaging and deploymentsBasic networking knowledgeFamiliarity with ITSM/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, etc.Good communication and customer-handling skillsAbility to work independently at the client siteSlovak language skills preferred/required for local user interactionGood English communication skillsMust be available for occasional backfill/dispatch assignmentsEngagement DetailsThis is a freelance/B2B backfill opportunity, not a permanent full-time position.
