The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure and equipment, and supporting our digital operations across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesIT Support & InfrastructureTroubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, telephones, CCTV systems, and other IT equipment.Provide timely technical support both remotely and on-site.Support network connectivity, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.Assist with system upgrades, software patches, and IT infrastructure improvements.Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and support activities.Provide user support for Windows operating systems and common business applications, including Microsoft Office 365 and Avaya.Digital Operations SupportSupport and troubleshoot GPS tracking hardware and software – knowledge in this area will be an advantage.Provide support for Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms and mobile applications.Knowledge of Diesel system will be considered an advantage.Work closely with operational teams to resolve technology-related issues affecting day-to-day business operations.Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Previous experience in an IT Support / IT Helpdesk / IT Technician role.Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, basic networking, LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN, hardware and software troubleshooting.Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 and business applications.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Good communication and customer-service skills.Ability to work independently and provide on-site support across operational locations.Experience in GPS tracking, MDM, mobile applications, CCTV, Avaya, or Diesel systems will be an added advantage.If you think you have what it takes to make the world a cleaner place, if you can see value where others see waste and if you aren’t afraid of a challenge, why not start your journey with us today.Averda welcomes candidates from all backgrounds, actively promotes diversity in the workforce, and is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED*
