IT Support Specialist

Job DescriptionOur client is a leading private investment and support office in Abu Dhabi. As part of its operations, the organisation supports a diverse portfolio of businesses and projects, including education environments. They are now seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support across their IT environment.This is an on-site role supporting staff and students across the organisation’s IT environment. You will provide hands-on technical support across hardware, software, connectivity, user access, classroom technology and general IT-related issues.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and classroom technologyTroubleshoot hardware, software, network, Wi-Fi and connectivity issuesManage user accounts, access permissions and password-related requestsSupport Microsoft 365, Windows and Active Directory environmentsInstall, configure and maintain IT equipment and softwareMaintain accurate IT asset and support recordsEscalate complex technical issues where requiredCoordinate with external vendors when necessaryEnsure user requests are resolved promptly and professionallyRequirements6–8 years of experience in IT support, desktop support or helpdesk operationsStrong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and basic networkingExperience supporting printers, Wi-Fi, audio-visual equipment and end-user devicesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer-service skillsExperience working within a school or education environment is preferredRelevant IT qualifications or certifications would be advantageousThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join an established education organisation and play a key role in supporting the technology environment for staff and students.Arabic speakers preferredPlease note: This is a fully on-site position based in the UAE.
