IT Support Specialist (on-site in Dubai)

Location: Media City Area, Dubai - Onsite presence is required.This role is only open to candidates who are currently based in Dubai.Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced candidate to manage and oversee the IT infrastructure and operations of our partner company.

This is a specialized contractor/partner role focused on ensuringseamless IT operations, security compliance, and technology support for our partner organization.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing devices, systems, user accounts, and security protocols while maintaining strict privacy and data protection standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevice & Equipment ManagementSet up, configure, and maintain company devices and equipment according to organizational standardsVPN & Network SecurityManage and configure VPN access for employees and partner companiesEnsure secure connections and monitor VPN usage for complianceUser Account ManagementCreate, manage, and maintain company accounts across various systemsControl user access and permissions with proper authorization protocolsPrivacy & Security ComplianceImplement and maintain privacy and security best practicesEnsure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policiesMonitor and report on security incidents and vulnerabilitiesTechnical Support & TroubleshootingProvide technical support to partner company staffDiagnose and resolve IT-related issues promptlyDocumentation & ReportingMaintain detailed records of IT systems, configurations, and incidentsProvide regular reports on IT operations and security statusRequired Qualifications4+ years of IT management or system administration experienceStrong knowledge of VPN configuration and network securityExperience with user account management and access control systemsProficiency with device management and endpoint security toolsKnowledge of privacy regulations and data protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work independentlyPreferred QualificationsCompTIA Security+ or similar security certificationExperience managing IT for international or multi-location operationsFamiliarity with cloud-based services and infrastructureExperience with IT asset management systemsKnowledge of emerging security threats and mitigation strategies
