Location: Grand Prairie, Texas, USAIndustry: Healthcare / Healthcare ITEmployment Type: Full-timeSchedule: 5 days / 8 hoursAbout the RoleAn opportunity is available for a senior-level IT Systems Analyst to lead application support, optimization and project delivery within a healthcare environment.

The role serves as a subject matter expert across assigned applications, working closely with clinical and business stakeholders to improve workflows, systems and user outcomes.The position also provides technical guidance and mentoring to other analysts and may coordinate the work of multidisciplinary teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead application implementation, configuration, testing, go-live support and optimizationProvide expert support and escalation for application-related issuesAnalyse complex business and clinical workflows, requirements and system dependenciesLead process mapping, requirements gathering, stakeholder analysis and solution designIndependently design and configure applications and develop new functionalityManage medium to large or sensitive projects from initiation through completionCoordinate cross-application initiatives, vendor changes and high-impact system updatesAct as liaison between end users, operational leaders, IT teams and vendorsPrepare project plans, status reports, documentation and executive-level communicationsIdentify risks, roadblocks and process improvements and coordinate appropriate resolutionMentor analysts, support cross-training and provide guidance on complex issuesMaintain current knowledge of Epic functionality, releases and industry developmentsCollaborate with application development, compliance and business process teamsLead workgroups and facilitate cross-functional application sessionsSupport critical incidents and additional hours when requiredRequirementsAssociate or bachelor’s degree preferred in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems or a related field5–7 years of experience in healthcare, business or information systemsStrong healthcare operations, workflow and systems knowledgeExperience independently leading projects and multidisciplinary teams2+ years of project management experience preferredExperience with application analysis, configuration, troubleshooting and optimizationStrong problem-solving, analytical and organisational skillsExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communicationStrong customer service and stakeholder management abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to work independently with minimal directionSupervisory, mentoring or functional team leadership experience preferredRelevant certifications in the area of expertise advantageousEpic RequirementsFor Epic-focused analysts, proficiency or certification in the assigned Epic module is required at employment or must be maintained according to applicable certification and version-training requirements.Key Skills: Healthcare IT, IT Systems Analysis, Application Support, Epic, Epic Systems, Application Configuration, Workflow Analysis, Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Process Mapping, System Design, Project Management, Healthcare Applications, Systems Optimization, Change Management, Vendor Management, Stakeholder Management, Team Leadership, Mentoring, Microsoft Office
