This is a varied, customer-focused role where you'll be the go-to person for Level 1 and Level 2 support, device deployments, Microsoft 365 support, and onsite technology assistance.Working closely with our IT Operations Specialist, you'll gain exposure to broader infrastructure and systems administration activities, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with a continuous learning mindset with a desire to develop into more advanced infrastructure and systems administration responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support for staff across the businessManage incidents and service requests through the service desk systemDeploy, configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripheralsSupport Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePointAssist with user onboarding, offboarding and account managementTravel to offices and project sites to provide onsite support and equipment setupSupport meeting rooms, collaboration technology and workplace devicesMaintain asset registers, inventory records and equipment lifecycle activitiesProvide basic infrastructure and smart-hands support for networks, server rooms and technology vendorsContribute to cybersecurity, patching and continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouYou'll be a proactive and customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving problems, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional support to end users.To be successful in this role, you'll have:An IT qualification or equivalent industry experienceExperience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environmentsExperience with service desk or ticketing systemsExperience configuring and troubleshooting end-user devicesKnowledge of Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra IDA strong customer service focus and commitment to user satisfactionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesThe ability to work independently and effectively manage competing prioritiesHigh attention to detail and a disciplined approach to documentation and record keepingProfessionalism, integrity and accountability in all interactionsA current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly between offices and project sitesAbout Alder GroupAt Alder Group, we deliver award-winning construction and infrastructure projects that positively impact communities across Queensland and Northern NSW.
