This role is about what happens to the data those devices produce: getting it into hospital systems accurately, securely, and without disrupting clinical work.You will design and build those integrations, working between our distribution partners, hospital IT teams, and our own engineering colleagues in Japan and Dubai.What you will doTranslate needs into design. Work with partners and hospital end-users to understand what they need, then turn it into technical specifications and integration designs — selecting the technologies, defining data flows and interfaces, and building in scalability and security from the start.Integrate the systems. Configure and develop interfaces between medical devices, our IT solutions and hospital information systems — including the Neuro application, HiQ and its patient monitor plugin, the Polaris ECG data management system, and Tele-ICU solutions.Get the data right. Define the data mappings and transformations so information moves between systems accurately and consistently, including cleansing, validation and enrichment.Test, deploy and document. Build and run integration test plans against performance, security and reliability standards. Oversee deployment into live hospital environments without interrupting operations, and document architectures, data flows and troubleshooting guides properly.Own the projects. Plan and coordinate integration projects from first inspection through to completion — timelines, resources and delivery.Keep it running, and bring people with you. Resolve technical issues after go-live, monitor integrated systems for performance and security, and train partners and end-users so they can manage the solutions confidently.What you will bring• At least three years in IT systems integration, ideally in healthcare or with medical devices• Network configuration to CCNA level or equivalent• SQL databases, Citrix environments and VMware• HL7 and hospital information system integration• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with sound judgement under pressure• Real project management capability — planning, organising, and seeing work through to completion• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team spread across countries and time zonesHelpful, though not essential• Familiarity with clinical devices — patient monitors, ECG, defibrillators, EEG and other neurology equipment• Experience deploying into live hospital environments• Exposure to Tele-ICU or remote patient monitoring solutionsAbout Nihon Kohden Middle EastNihon Kohden is a Japanese medical technology company.
