Location: Palo Alto, CAWork Arrangement: Onsite/HybridIndustry: Automotive / Electric VehiclesAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Audio DSP Specialist to support In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) audio development for electric vehicle platforms.

This role focuses on real-time audio processing, voice communication, ECNR, and audio post-processing on embedded production platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, integrate, optimize, and debug the IVI audio/DSP software stack.Develop and integrate voice communication and voice recognition solutions.Work on speech and microphone-array processing algorithms.Support audio tuning, testing, validation, and production integration.Collaborate with HW, system integration, and QA teams to troubleshoot audio issues.Develop and integrate real-time audio playback and post-processing pipelines.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Audio DSP and speech processing.Experience with several of the following: AEC, ECNR, Beamforming/MVDR, NR, RES, VAD, AGC, DoA, wind-noise reduction, speech enhancement.Strong C/C++ development experience with real-time audio systems.Strong understanding of Linux Audio / ALSA.Experience with audio post-processing such as mixing, routing, gain/volume control, mute/ducking, EQ, filtering, and sample-rate conversion.Experience with Python and MATLAB.Preferred SkillsAutomotive / IVI audio development experience.Commercial experience with voice communication or voice recognition features.Hands-on experience with DSP Concepts Audio Weaver (AWE).Experience with HATS, HEAD acoustics, Audio Precision, or similar acoustic measurement and validation tools.Experience with traditional DSP, ML-based speech enhancement, or hybrid DSP + ML solutions.
