Responsibilities

Lead Japan Information Security and Security Architecture & Engineering functions.Align Japan security requirements with global security strategy, policies, standards, and controls.Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture frameworks and security standards.Lead Security Architecture Reviews, risk assessments, and security improvement initiatives.Drive Security by Design and DevSecOps practices with global security teams.Lead cybersecurity governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and third-party security risk activities.Oversee security initiatives across cloud, network, application, endpoint, data, and emerging technologies.Provide leadership during significant cybersecurity incidents and security events.Collaborate with Business, IT, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, regulators, and external stakeholders.Recruit, develop, mentor, and lead security professionals.

Required Skills

15+ years of leadership experience in large, complex, global organizations.10+ years of Information Security experience with strong Security Architecture & Engineering expertise.Experience leading enterprise security architecture and cybersecurity programs across multiple regions or business units.Strong knowledge of Security Architecture, Cloud Security, Network Security, Application Security, Endpoint Security, and Data Protection.Experience with Cybersecurity Governance, Risk Management, GRC, and regulatory compliance.Experience with security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, and OWASP.Experience with Security by Design, DevSecOps, AI/ML security, SaaS security, and security automation.Experience working with regulators, auditors, and senior business/technology stakeholders.Ability to translate complex cybersecurity topics into business risks and actionable decisions.CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certification required.Japanese: Native / Advanced (N1)English: Business levelWorking Hours:08:40–17:10Working Style:Hybrid — 1–2 days office per week
