Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe help businesses leverage cutting-edge technologies to accelerate growth, improve operational efficiency, and achieve greater scalability.We are looking for a motivated and skilled Java Backend Developer – Fintech to join our dynamic team and work with one of our leading clients at their Noida location.Role OverviewAs a Java Backend Developer – Fintech, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for financial and payment applications.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Payment Systems, Kafka, AWS, Redis, SQL/NoSQL databases, and modern software development practices. Candidates with relevant experience across the 1–6 years range are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy high-performance, fault-tolerant, and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.Develop and maintain scalable microservices architectures.Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.Write optimized SQL queries and ensure data integrity and performance.Build and integrate payment systems, handling transaction processing, reconciliation, and security requirements.Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for real-time data processing and asynchronous communication.Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and other relevant services for deployment and scalability.Implement Redis caching and session-management solutions.Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code.Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other developers and technical teams.Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and non-production environments.Research and adopt new technologies to improve application performance and development processes.Contribute to continuous learning and technical improvement within the team.Must-Have Skills & Experience1–6 years of professional experience in Java backend development.Experience in the Fintech domain, preferably working on financial or payment applications.Experience with AI-assisted development and modern AI-powered developer tools/workflows.Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot.Experience with Microservices architecture and design patterns.Experience with payment systems, transaction processing, reconciliation, and security practices.Hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and optimized SQL queries.Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.Experience with AWS cloud services.Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven systems.Experience with Redis for caching and session management.Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Understanding of software development best practices, testing, CI/CD, and version control.Good to HaveExperience with Azure or GCP.Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies.Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar monitoring and logging tools.Contributions to open-source projects.Experience working with high-volume or high-availability applications.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.What We OfferOpportunity to work on challenging projects in the rapidly evolving Fintech and Payments industry.Exposure to modern technologies and scalable backend systems.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.Opportunity to work with experienced technology professionals.Competitive salary and benefits package.Apply NowIf you are a passionate Java Backend Developer with experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Fintech, Payment Systems, and Cloud Technologies, we encourage you to apply.
