Java Backend

Location- DubaiExperience- 8 to 10 yearsNP-Immediate JoinerWe are seeking a Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java (21+), Spring Boot, and Quarkus to build and optimize high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Keycloak (IAM), databases (SQL/NoSQL), troubleshooting, and performance optimization in distributed microservices environments.Key Responsibilities-Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Quarkus.Integrate and manage Keycloak for authentication, authorization, and RBAC.Design, optimize, and query SQL/NoSQL databases efficiently.Implement secure, stateless APIs with JWT-based authentication.Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues.Optimize application performance (DB tuning, caching, async processing, profiling).Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to ensure scalable deployment on Openshift.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with unit/integration tests.Participate in code reviews, design discussions.Required Skills & Experience-Strong proficiency in Java 17+ (preferably 21).Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Quarkus.Solid understanding of Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).Knowledge of microservices architecture, API gateways, and distributed systems.Proven skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.Strong understanding of performance optimization (DB indexes, JVM tuning, async, caching).Nice-to-Have-Experience with Reactive Programming.Knowledge of event-driven architectures.Exposure to observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, APPD, OpenTelemetry).Prior work in high-throughput, low-latency enterprise applications.
