The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and backend development, with experience in building RESTful APIs, integrating databases, and developing high-performance enterprise applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring BootDevelop and consume RESTful APIs and web servicesWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practicesIntegrate applications with relational databases and optimize SQL queriesCollaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teamsTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issuesParticipate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standardsOptimize application performance, scalability, and securityPrepare technical documentation and support deployment activitiesRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field4–5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend developmentStrong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8/11/17)Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA/HibernateExperience developing RESTful APIs and microservicesStrong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or OracleExperience with Git or other version control systemsFamiliarity with Maven or GradleUnderstanding of JUnit, Mockito, and unit testing frameworksKnowledge of application security, authentication, and authorization conceptsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred SkillsExperience with Microservices ArchitectureFamiliarity with Docker and KubernetesExperience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systemsKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOpsExposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
