Java Backend Developer

Job Title: Java Backend Developer Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and database technologies. This role involves developing high-performance enterprise applications, building secure APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust business solutions. Key Responsibilities :Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.Develop and implement RESTful APIs and Microservices-based architectures.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.Collaborate with frontend developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.Work extensively with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.Design and implement database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments.Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management activities.Support CI/CD processes and contribute to DevOps best practices.Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in Java Backend Development.Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8 or above).Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.Extensive experience in developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.Experience with Hibernate/JPA for ORM and database interaction.Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or messaging frameworks is desirable.Knowledge of Git, Maven, Gradle, and build automation tools.Good understanding of Multi-threading, Collections, Design Patterns, and JVM concepts.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred SkillsExperience working with Docker and Kubernetes.Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Understanding of security best practices and application monitoring tools.
