We're Hiring: Java Backend Developer — Junior Lisbon — Parque das Nações | Hybrid (3 days/week in office) €1,200–€1,600 net/monthWe're looking for a Junior Java Backend Developer to join a team working on large-scale digital products within an international environment.What you'll be doingDevelop and maintain Java microservices for Checkout, MyAccount and ODR Processing products, with support from senior engineersBuild and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIsWork according to OpenAPI standards and established development practicesWrite unit and integration testsContribute to software quality and security through tools such as SonarQube and SnykParticipate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectivesFollow coding standards, security guidelines and GitLab pull request workflowsSupport IAM integrations using technologies such as Keycloak, Okta and OIDCTake part in a structured upskilling programme supported by experienced Accenture SMEsWhat we're looking forSome hands-on experience with JavaUnderstanding of backend development and REST APIsBasic understanding of microservices and software architectureFamiliarity with unit/integration testingKnowledge of Git and collaborative development workflowsWillingness to learn and grow in a professional engineering environmentPortuguese and English proficiencyThis is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their backend career who wants to strengthen their Java, microservices, APIs, cloud and enterprise software skills while working alongside experienced engineers.
