Java Backend Lead

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and architect scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.Build and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.Implement microservices architecture and ensure system performance, scalability, and security.Integrate backend services with internal systems, authentication platforms, and enterprise data sources.Implement enterprise authentication and authorization mechanisms, including SSO and OAuth2.Mentor backend developers and provide technical guidance and code reviews.Establish best practices for code quality, unit testing, integration testing, and technical documentation.Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure backend services meet reliability and security standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Java development.Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring-based application development.Experience with JPA/Hibernate and database integration.Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development.Experience designing and implementing microservices architecture.Knowledge of enterprise authentication and authorization, including SSO and OAuth2.Experience with code reviews, testing frameworks, and software development best practices.Prior experience providing technical leadership or mentoring developers.Preferred SkillsKnowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.Understanding of application security, performance tuning, and distributed systems.
