Its platform aggregates and validates cost and holdings data from across the investment supply chain, allowing pension funds, asset managers and other service providers to share and interrogate validated information about their investment activities. The engineering team works in a distributed agile setup, building high-throughput services that process financial data at scale. The RoleYou'll join a small engineering team working on a range of challenging projects built around Java 17+ microservices and streaming technologies. We are building out the team at several levels of experience, so there is scope whether you are a strong mid-level developer or a senior engineer looking for more ownership. You'll work closely with product and fellow engineers in short agile cycles, deploying as soon as work is ready. What We're Looking ForDeep core Java knowledge and a real interest in performance-critical, high-throughput systemsExperience with test-driven development, with automated testing and continuous integration central to how the team worksThe ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-developers as well as to your peersComfort working as part of a distributed, agile teamDevelopment StackOpen source: JUnit 5, Mockito, gRPC, Spring Integration, Apache FlinkEnvironment: Linux, GitHub, Jenkins, MavenInfrastructure: PostgreSQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, PuppetCloud: AWSDesirableKnowledge of trading and operations in any asset class, market data, risk, accounting or fund administration would be advantageous, though it is not essential. This could suit an experienced Java engineer from a financial markets, fintech or high-volume data background, or a strong generalist developer keen to work on performance-critical systems.#Referment
