Exp :3-5 YearsLocation- Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad & Pune.Work Mode- HybridJob DetailsRoles & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.Create and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality.Develop and execute API automation test cases using BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).Perform API regression testing to validate application stability after code changes.Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.Execute and monitor CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.Work with Git for source code management, branching, merging, and pull requests.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.Troubleshoot production and non-production issues and provide timely resolutions.Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.Job DescriptionJob Summary:We are looking for a skilled Java Spring Boot Developer with experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Spring Boot, API automation, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using Git. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable backend services while ensuring high code quality through automated testing and continuous integration.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in Java backend development using Spring Boot.Required Skills:Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17).Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.Good understanding of Spring ecosystem (Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security is a plus).Experience in writing JUnit and Mockito test cases.Hands-on experience in BDD API Automation using Cucumber or similar frameworks.Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.Experience in API regression testing.Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).Proficiency with Git for version control. Familiarity with Maven or Gradle build tools.Good understanding of SQL databases.Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills:Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk or ELK.Familiarity with SonarQube and code quality analysis tools. Nice to Have:Experience with microservices architecture.Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.Understanding of security best practices for REST APIs.Experience with performance optimization and API monitoring.
