Experience: 5–7 YearsLocation: Mumbai – GoregaonWork Mode: Hybrid – 3 Days Work From OfficeNotice Period: Immediate JoinerRole: Software Engineer / Java DeveloperDepartment: TEDRA – Middle Office TC & Vista InfrastructureIndustry: Financial Services preferredRole OverviewWe are looking for a Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot and distributed applications to join the Middle Office TC & Vista Infrastructure squad.The candidate will work on large-scale distributed systems, application modernization and technical enhancements, with a focus on reliability, scalability, performance and observability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain large-scale distributed, multi-application systems.Work on modernization initiatives using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.3+, Gradle, MongoDB and Kafka.Design, develop and test functional and non-functional enhancements.Troubleshoot complex issues involving inter-process communication, threading, memory management, messaging, databases, caching and data enrichment.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams.Contribute to Agile design discussions and department-level modernization initiatives.Ensure applications meet required performance, uptime, scalability and security standards.Work with evolving business and regulatory requirements.Contribute to re-engineering and modernization of large-scale applications.🔴 Mandatory Requirements5–7 years of relevant software development experience.Strong hands-on Java development experience.Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot.Good experience with Gradle or equivalent build tools.Experience with at least one of DB2, Sybase or MongoDB.Strong SQL knowledge.Hands-on experience with Kafka and/or IBM MQ.Experience working on Linux/Unix environments.Good knowledge of Shell scripting.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and ability to work with large global teams.Immediate joiner.Willingness to work 3 days from Goregaon office.Candidates should be comfortable working on large-scale applications and distributed systems.Preferred / Good to HaveJava 21 / Spring Boot 3.3+PythonDevOps / CI-CDDocker / KubernetesApplication modernization / re-engineeringFinancial services domain knowledge
