Java Developer- Mid-Level

Familiarity with Spring Cloud and distributed systems is a plus. Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL): Strong data modeling skills and experience in optimizing complex queries. Good understanding of indexing strategies, transaction management, connection pooling, replication, and database security. Authentication & Authorization: Hands-on experience implementing IAM concepts such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, JWT, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Security Best Practices: Experience with data encryption at rest and in transit, hashing algorithms such as bcrypt and scrypt, and prevention of common vulnerabilities including SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, and insecure deserialization. Unit & Integration Testing: Proficiency with JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Test. Experience with integration testing and end-to-end testing methodologies. Caching & Messaging: Experience with caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached and message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for building scalable and high-performance systems. Roles & Responsibilities Architect and develop core backend services, including robust user authentication, session management, and access control logic. Design and optimize relational database schemas with a focus on scalability, high availability, performance, and security. Write high-performance, maintainable, and secure Java code while maintaining strong coding standards. Lead and support a backend team of 3–4 junior to mid-level developers, fostering collaboration and productivity. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices in coding standards, security, performance, and API design. Mentor junior developers on advanced Java backend development principles, efficient database interactions, and secure API design. Break down complex backend features into manageable user stories and subtasks for efficient development and delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure backend solutions. Preferred Skills Spring Cloud and distributed systems Microservices architecture CI/CD and DevOps practices Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Experience:3-4+ Years
