Java eTrading Developer

Context: We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a global electronic trading technology team responsible for building and maintaining a high-performance platform supporting interest rate products. The environment is fast-paced, business-driven, and focused on delivering scalable and low-latency solutions. This role involves close interaction with Front Office stakeholders and technical teams in a mission-critical trading ecosystem.Role:Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, multi-threaded backend applicationsMaintain and improve platform stability, scalability, and low-latency messaging capabilitiesWork closely with business users to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutionsProvide support for production activities and ensure the reliability of the trading platformContribute to system architecture, technical design, and continuous platform improvementsParticipate in code reviews and promote best practices across the development teamTech Stack:Core Java (modern versions), multithreading, performance optimizationExposure to C++ or other performance-oriented languagesClient-side technologies such as C# or similarMessaging and communication protocols, including TCP-based systemsNice to have: experience with electronic trading platforms or vendor solutionsProfile:5+ years of experience in backend Java development within complex enterprise environmentsStrong expertise in multi-threaded and low-latency systemsPrevious exposure to electronic trading or real-time financial systemsGood understanding of fixed income or similar capital markets workflowsAbility to collaborate with Front Office users and work in a demanding, time-sensitive environment
