Job Description:As Fullstack Java Developer, you will contribute to the development of our next-generationplatform for configuring and adapting banknote-processing systems used worldwide. Togetherwith the development team in India and the architecture team in Munich, you will implementhigh-quality backend and frontend components using Java Spring Boot, Angular, Docker, andMicrosoft Azure.In this role, you will work in a collaborative, cross-site Scrum team and help shape a modern,scalable, and secure application landscape. You will actively participate in design discussions,implement new features, ensure code quality through testing and reviews, and support theintegration of backend, frontend, and database components.Key Responsibilities Implement high-quality Java Spring Boot services and Angular frontend components Contribute to the design and development of fullstack features that integrate backend,frontend, and database systems Ensure robust database persistence using PostgreSQL and participate in performanceoptimization Develop and execute unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma) Work closely with the lead architect in Munich and senior engineers in India to translatearchitecture concepts into clean, maintainable code Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives) Collaborate with testers, support teams, and business analysts to ensure functional andtechnical quality Follow coding standards, contribute to code reviews, and ensure maintainability and reliability Support continuous improvement of development processes, automation, and CI/CD pipelines(Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments Contribute to proof-of-concepts for evaluating new technologies (e.g., Docker, cloud services,image processing and machine learning) Support containerization and deployment using Docker and Microsoft AzureReporting StructureDoes this position formallysupervise employees? Tech or Master’s in any other relevant field (Preferred)Years ofExperience Experience In7+ years ofexperienceProfessional software development experience (7+ years) using Spring andAngular (5+ years)Required Skills Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security Professional experience with Angular (TypeScript) Hands-on experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL Experience with Docker, containerization, and cloud deployments (Azure preferred) Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for distributed systems Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and tools (Jira, Confluence) Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in international teams (India &Germany)
