Employment Type: Internship with an opportunity for full-time conversionAbout the RoleZexovo is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer Intern with at least one year of hands-on development experience to build and enhance our software products.

The ideal candidate should have strong Java and Spring Boot skills, experience with modern frontend frameworks, and the ability to deliver features across the application stack.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React or Angular.Design, implement, and document secure RESTful APIs.Build responsive user interfaces and integrate them with backend services.Design MySQL database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and exception handling.Write unit and integration tests, review code, and resolve application defects.Troubleshoot performance issues and support application deployments.Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.Required Qualifications and SkillsMinimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Java full stack development.Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, collections, generics, Streams API, exception handling, and multithreading.Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.Working knowledge of Spring Security, JWT authentication, and role-based access control.Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React or Angular; familiarity with TypeScript.Experience with MySQL, relational database design, complex SQL queries, joins, indexing, and transaction management.Understanding of REST API design, HTTP, pagination, API versioning, and Swagger/OpenAPI.Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, Postman, JUnit, and Mockito.Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred Advanced SkillsMicroservices architecture, API gateways, and resilient service communication.Asynchronous processing and messaging using Kafka or RabbitMQ.Redis caching and cache invalidation strategies.Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Database migrations using Flyway or Liquibase.Performance profiling, JVM memory management, and Hibernate query optimization.Centralized logging, application monitoring, and distributed tracing.Secure coding practices and familiarity with common web application vulnerabilities.Full-Time ConversionThis internship offers the opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on performance, technical proficiency, ownership, and business requirements.
