Position: Java Full-Stack Developer with Angular (Wealth Management) Location: Hybrid, 4days/week- Toronto, ON Job type: Full-Time/Permanent HiringNote: Second round/client round will be in person at “400 University Ave, 25th Floor, Toronto, ON M5G 1S5We are seeking a Java Full-Stack Developer to drive the design, development, and evolution of scalable, high-performance web applications within our Financial Services / Wealth Management divisions. In this role, you will lead end-to-end full-stack engineering utilizing Java 17, Spring Boot microservices, and Angular (v16+) front-ends built with TypeScript. You will architect robust Backend for Frontend (BFF) layers, secure RESTful API integrations, and drive DevOps excellence via continuous CI/CD pipeline automation and SonarQube vulnerability remediation while mentoring development squads inside an Agile/Scrum environment.Key Responsibilities:Engineer Full-Stack Solutions: Design, build, and deploy secure, high-performance web applications using Java 17 and Angular 16+.Architect BFF Layers: Develop optimized Backend for Frontend (BFF) orchestration patterns to streamline data delivery to responsive UIs.Design Microservices: Create low-latency, scalable microservices architectures leveraging Spring Boot and clean software design patterns.Build Responsive Front ends: Engineer modular, component-driven client-side experiences utilizing TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular best practices.Secure REST APIs: Formulate enterprise REST API designs, incorporating structural data protection, OAuth/JWT tokens, and security patches.Drive DevOps Automation: Support automated CI/CD pipelines, containerization deployments, and build setups using Maven/Gradle and Bitbucket.Enforce Code Quality: Run deep-dive code reviews, optimize SonarQube quality gates, and remediate application security vulnerabilities.Lead Technical Teams: Mentor junior developers, direct sprint estimations, troubleshoot complex production issues, and drive Agile technical solutions.Required Skills:Primary: Core Java 17+, Spring Boot Microservices, Backend for Frontend (BFF) Design, Angular (v16+), TypeScript, REST API Architecture.Tools/Frameworks: Spring Security, Hibernate, Maven, Gradle, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence.Database/Cloud: Relational Databases, Cloud Platform awareness (AWS/Azure), Docker Containerization, CI/CD pipelines.Nice-to-Have: Wealth Management / Brokerage domain knowledge, Jasmine/Karma unit testing, NGRX State Management, WebSockets.
