Referment is working with a financial services technology company whose platforms underpin mission-critical data workflows for investment managers, banks and service providers. Its managed services team runs high-availability systems that keep trusted, compliant data flowing into client systems such as accounting platforms, order-management systems and data warehouses. The RoleYou'll join a small, collaborative data services team as a full-stack engineer, designing and building enterprise-grade applications and services with Java and React. The platform connects to thousands of data feeds from hundreds of global sources, and you'll help maintain the high-availability systems that sit at the heart of clients' operations.You'll balance short-term delivery with longer-term architectural goals, working with managed-services colleagues and business stakeholders to turn requirements into scalable, reliable features. You'll own problems end to end: proposing solutions, making decisions and communicating them clearly, all within a culture of learning, knowledge-sharing and transparency. There's scope to contribute across other languages and frameworks as the team evolves.
